I'm Gabriel — "Gabo" — Candal. I grew up in 1980s Buenos Aires, Argentina, surrounded by books. When I was six years young I read Around the World in 80 Days and immediately decided that a life of exploration was the only one worth living.
I'm an official tour guide in Argentina, a senior trip leader, a theatre actor, a rock 'n' roll band manager, a Reiki master — and yes, also a Certified Public Accountant. In 2011 I moved to New Zealand for a year, and what followed was a three-year adventure across 105 countries on all 7 continents. By 2014 I was leading trips for the world's best travel companies: G Adventures, National Geographic, Overseas Adventure Travel and Education First. I've never stopped wondering since.
